2010 Black Bart Syrah Port, Napa Valley

Intense aromas are undeniably floral even from afar. Rich caramel, spice, and marzipan aromatics command your attention. A beautiful full body and balanced structure show the importance of ripe fruit and successful timing of fortification. The wine coats the palate with vibrant acidity. The wine has a long and concentrated finish. Drink 2013 through 2024.

Blend:	100% Syrah Fortified with Germain Robin Viognier brandy
Fermentation:	4 days cold soak in macro bins with barefoot stomp once per day, 11 days of fermentation with 4-5 punch downs per day before fortification.
Cooperage:	French Oak–Damy, Francois Freres & Hermitage
Barrel Aging:	22 months in 100% New French Oak
Release Date:	October 1, 2012
