2008 Krupp Brothers Veraison Red Wine, Napa Valley

This wine is rich in aromatics consisting of dark fruits, roasted coffee bean, tobacco, red licorice and spice. A bold entry leads to a beautifully rich and weighty palate with flavors of black currant, bramble berry, cocoa powder and lilac. The structure of the wine is powerful and concentrated which leads to a long & elegant finish.

Harvested:	September 12-October 22, 2008
Blend:	Proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Syrah
Fermentation:	5 days average cold soak and 23 days on skins
Cooperage:	French Oak–Taransaud, Bossuet, Saury and Sylvain
Barrel Aging:	22 months–80% new French Oak
Release Date:	July 1, 2011
Vineyard:	Stagecoach/Krupp Block(s): L1, L3, T4, E2, M5, E1, D4, D6 and T4
Soil:	Hambright-red/brown loam over rock
Exposure:	Gentle southerly aspect
