2008 Krupp Brothers Syrah, Stagecoach Vineyard

Deep garnet in color with inky black tints. Lovely aromas of violets, lavender, brambleberry, cocoa powder, licorice and spiced meats. Intense flavors of olallieberry and blackberry with lingering hints of chocolate and red raspberry. The wine coats the entire palate with long lived, complex and lively tannins. Enjoy now through 2018.

Harvested:	September 12th to October 8th 2008
Blend:	98% Syrah and 2% Viognier
Fermentation:	5 days cold soak, 19 days on skins
Cooperage:	French Oak – Damy, Cadus & Francois Freres
Barrel Aging:	32 months – 65% new
