2005 Veraison Cabernet Sauvignon, Stagecoach Vineyard

Complex aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, cedar, raspberry jam, and vanilla. The palate is full and rich; flavors of black fruits, violets, wild sage, licorice, and earthiness. Great density and firm supportive tannins that lead into a long finish.

Harvested: October 5 - 27, 2005
Blend: 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot, 1% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc
Fermentation: Average of 4 days cold soak and 28 days on skins
Cooperage: French Oak–Taransaud & Bossuet
Barrel Aging: 16 months–85% new French Oak
Release Date: November 1, 2008
Vineyard: Stagecoach Block(s): L1, L3 & T4
Soil: Rocky clam loam and variable soil depth
Exposure: L1/L3–gentle south aspect, T4–steep south west aspect
Elevation: 1,500- 1,825 ft above sea level
