2005 Veraison Synchrony, Stagecoach Vineyard

Inky with black/garnet hues; Cassis, licorice, green olive and wild sage aromas are blanketed with dusty earth and cedary oak. A dense, sweet fruit center attacks the palate, ripe fruit flavors of blueberries, sweet raspberries and black cherry. The tannins frame the mouth perfectly, fine and dusty.

Harvested: October 21 - November 1, 2005
Blend: 56% Cabernet Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon 2% Merlot and 2% Malbec
Fermentation: Average 3 days cold soak and 26 days on skin
Cooperage: French Oak–Taransaud & Bossuet
Barrel Aging: 18 months–85% new oak
Release Date: November 1, 2009
Vineyard: Stagecoach Block(s): D5, E1, L1, L3, D6 and D4
Soil: Insanely rocky
Exposure: South–southwest

AMERICAN FINE WINE COMPETITION - Double Gold Medal for 2005 Veraison Synchrony

2005 Veraison Synchrony won a Double Gold Medal at the 2010 American Fine Wine Competition, held January 17-18, 2010 at the Lincoln Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach, FL. 2005 Veraison Synchrony was awarded in the category of "Meritage Style Blend."
