The 2002 vintage was filled with warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. There were only 2 days where the morning fog had not rolled off Stagecoach Vineyards by 7:00 a.m. The intense flavors and dark fruit found in our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon are the best ever to be plucked from our south western facing slopes.
Deep red-black hue with great legs; powerful aromas of currants, cassis, black cherry and a hint of anise give way to silky mountain tannins, with dark, rich spices and intense black fruits. An immensely full mid-palate matches a lengthy fi nish. Great with a Porterhouse, New York Steak or Rack of lamb! Enjoy now through 2016. 2829 cases produced.
