Stagecoach Vineyard Excursions
Rustic and wildly beautiful, Stagecoach Vineyard is a breathtaking site. Tucked among the 700-plus acres of thriving vines and volcanic chaparral slopes are the remnants of an old German vineyard along with the Water Witch’s Well that made Stagecoach a reality. In spring, the fragrant purple blossoms of rare holly-leaf plants entertain not just a human audience, but also a pair of golden eagles, many blue jays, and countless raptors, reptiles, and mammals. It is up here in this thriving backcountry that the lore of Black Bart – who intimately knew these eastern slopes - springs to life.
We invite you to enjoy our wines among this vineyard setting. Stand above the fogline and gaze down at Opus and Silver Oak; look west toward David Arthur and Colgin; or, on clear days, breathe in the sea-tinged air while looking out upon San Francisco Bay, San Francisco and Mt. Tamalpais.
Arrangements for your visit can be made with our concierge at 707-226-2215. Winemaker Nigel Kinsman and Dr. Jan Krupp are often on hand. Call to schedule a customized visit.
